Systematic Access to Learning through Technology and Training (SALTT)
Grant proposal to improve access among at-risk learners (with and without disabilities) to learning via alternative media.
Reading in a Digital Learning Environment (RIDLE)
Grant proposal to identify the cognitive and metacognitive supports that can be built into digital content to improve the reading comprehension performance of adolescents with SLD and proficient readers in the classroom and on standardized assessments of their yearly progress.
Enhanced Teaching and Learning in Core Math Classes Using Multiple Modalities and Concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Facilitated by the use of HP Tablet PCs.
Grant proposal to redesign college core math classes to incorporate UDL, Tablet PCs, and electronic text to enhance student engagement and retention.
